Future Leaders 2026 programme launched in Al Batinah South

AL RUSTAQ: The activities of the 'Future Leaders 2026' programme, now in its fourth edition, were launched in Al Batinah South Governorate, bringing together 90 outstanding students from grades 7 to 9 across various schools.


Organised by the Career Guidance and Student Counselling Centre at the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, the week-long programme is being held at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Al Musannah.


The initiative aims to foster entrepreneurial and innovative thinking among students through a series of training sessions and interactive activities designed to develop skills in idea generation, planning, teamwork, communication, and decision-making.

Speakers at the programme highlighted its role in equipping students with modern entrepreneurial skills and encouraging them to transform innovative ideas into viable projects that can contribute to Oman’s future economic development.


Officials said the programme represents a strategic investment in developing youth capabilities and strengthening the culture of entrepreneurship in Oman. - ONA
